ACR88 USB Unit
The ACR88 from ACS is a secure, programmable, hand-held smartcard terminal with a graphical LCD display, keypad, 2 smartcard slots as well as internal SAM/mini-SIM slots. The terminal can operate in connected mode, or in stand-alone battery-powered mode.
Approved to EMV level 1, this terminal can be used for a wide variety of applications. Stand-alone applications can be programmed using a simple interpreted scripting language.
Developers of new applications will typically purchase the ACR88 SDK first.
