The CM3121 USB desktop reader from OMNIKEY is a revolutionary addition to their range, offering the very latest technology in a new-style housing. This reader is fully PC/SC and EMV Level 1 compliant and supports all ISO 7816 microprocessor-based smartcards as well as a variety of popular memory cards. CM4040 PCMCIA NHS
The CM4040 PCMCIA reader from OMNIKEY provides the means to include a smartcard reader inside most laptops and many PDAs. The reader has been developed to meet all major standards such as PC/SC, ISO 7816 and EMV Level 1.
The reader comes complete with WHQL approved drivers for Windows and Windows CE, as well as support for other operating systems such as Linux. With additional drivers available for download from the OMNIKEY website, it is ideal for many smartcard-based applications on portable computers. It is the preferred and approved model for standard NHS laptop applications.
The CM4040 maintains OMNIKEY's excellent reputation for high quality readers, offering users the capability to manage their various smartcard activities ‘on the move’. The reader has a helpful card guide, which is all that can be seen when it has been inserted into a PDA or laptop. The smartcard slides in two thirds of the way, leaving an ample amount outside for easy retraction.
