Omnikey 4040 PCMCIA
The 4040 PCMCIA reader from Omnikey (previously the CardMan CM4040) provides the means to include a smartcard reader inside most laptops and many PDAs. The reader has been developed to meet all major standards such as PC/SC, ISO 7816 and EMV Level 1.
The reader comes complete with WHQL approved drivers for Windows and Windows CE, as well as support for other operating systems such as Linux. With additional drivers available for download from the OMNIKEY website, it is ideal for many smartcard-based applications on portable computers.
The CardMan 4040 maintains Omnikey's excellent reputation for high quality readers, offering users the capability to manage their various smartcard activities ‘on the move’. The reader has a helpful card guide, which is all that can be seen when it has been inserted into a PDA or laptop. Omnikey 4321 ExpressCard
The 4321 ExpressCard reader from Omnikey (previously the CardMan CM4321) is one of the first smartcard readers to adopt this new interface standard. ExpressCard is designed to enable smaller and faster PC card solutions for next generation PCs, and has already been implemented in the latest laptops.
This reader has been developed to meet all major standards such as PC/SC, ISO 7816 and EMV Level 1, and will work in 54mm ExpressCard slots.

GemPC card PCMCIA
The GemPC Card PCMCIA reader from GemPlus allows the use of Smartcards for most laptops and PDA’s with a PC Card type II slot and incorporates GemPlus’ market leading single chip interface. The cleverly designed casing allows the reader to sit flush within the card slot and leaves a small amount of an inserted card showing to allow for easy retraction.
The GemPC Card reader meets the EMV specifications version 4.0, supports all ISO 7816 class A, B and C cards (5 V, 3 V and 1.8 V), all ISO 7816 TA1 parameters (up to 344 Kbps) and extended APDU commands as well as being PC/SC and EMV level 1 approved.

S300 SDIO
The S300 SDIO smartcard reader is designed to operate on PDA platforms and smartphones, providing these devices with access to standard ISO-7816 smartcard technology. The S300 is a convenient, portable unit with a short cable that can be plugged into any handheld device with an accessible SDIO slot. The PDA or smartphone must be running the SDIO Now! software from BSquare.
The reader is based upon the popular GemCore smartcard reader chipset, and comes complete with drivers for Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.0 running on ARM processors.
The S300 SDIO comes with Velcro pads that can be used to attach the reader to the PDA or smartphone making it easily removable when not required. The reader also has a built in compartment for the SDIO connector to slide into, protecting it when not in use.
