The ESR40 from HID is a combined Edge Solo control unit and reader. Powered over Ethernet (PoE) it enables remote management and report generation via a standard web browser. Access rights, user information, administration, door configuration and retrieval of events are managed through the embedded web interface with no additional software required. Unlike most other access control systems, Edge Solo provides fully distributed intelligence and decision making at the door, maximising flexibility whilst minimising installation and maintenance costs.
This unit is ideal for those who want a quick and simple door access system that requires minimal space and wiring. Installation instructions and our own detailed wiring diagrams for various system layouts are included.
