iClass 2k/2 Card
The iClass 2k/2 card from HID is a 13.56 MHz contactless smartcard designed for use with HID's door access control systems plus other compatible applications. The card contains 256 bytes (2k bits) of memory and is configured with 2 application areas. The first area stores the HID card number and the other is customisable for user requirements.
The highly secure iClass card uses the ISO 15693 standard for contactless communications. With appropriate software, PC based readers such as the Omnikey 5321 can be used to read and write data on these cards.
