Smartboard 6644 USB
The Smartboard 6644 USB from Cherry (model G83-6644) is a UK-layout keyboard with a built-in smartcard reader based on the popular OMNIKEY CardMan chipset, designed for large volume applications. The reader is fully PC/SC and EMV Level 1 compliant, and also offers secure PIN entry facilities. It supports all ISO 7816 microprocessor-based smartcards as well as popular memory cards.
An ideal low-cost reader for use with smartcard applications in a desktop environment, the reader comes complete with WHQL approved Windows drivers, as well as support for other operating systems such as Linux. Fully compatible and interchangeable with the Omnikey range of readers.
