S300 SDIO
The S300 SDIO smartcard reader is designed to operate on PDA platforms and smartphones, providing these devices with access to standard ISO-7816 smartcard technology. The S300 is a convenient, portable unit with a short cable that can be plugged into any handheld device with an accessible SDIO slot. The PDA or smartphone must be running the SDIO Now! software from BSquare.
The reader is based upon the popular GemCore smartcard reader chipset, and comes complete with drivers for Microsoft Pocket PC 2003 and Windows Mobile 5.0 running on ARM processors.
The S300 SDIO comes with Velcro pads that can be used to attach the reader to the PDA or smartphone making it easily removable when not required. The reader also has a built in compartment for the SDIO connector to slide into, protecting it when not in use.
